Hey, it’s the first ever Insanely Instupituous Contest of Terror and Dread here at Grade Z Horror. This month I wanted to celebrate the unholy marriage of Brian Keene and Deadite Press by giving away a copy of Jack’s Magic Beans! In case you missed it, Deadite picked up Brian’s back catalogue and will be releasing new editions (including e-books!!!!!!) of all of those Leisure titles we love so much. We will also be treated to some unreleased and rare goodies as well. I am so stoked!

Here is your chance to get one of the first releases for free.

Just look at that cover art!

How To Enter
Just leave a comment in this post with the name of your favorite Brian Keene book. That’s it! At the end of the month I’ll use some sorta fancy random number generator website to pick the winner.

How To Increase Your Chances
There are two ways to increase your chances of winning.

1) I will automatically enter anyone who follows the site so if you are a follower AND you leave a comment you have two chances.

2) Every Monday I will send a tweet out as a reminder. Anyone who retweets the reminder will automatically be given an addition chance.

That means that if you leave a comment, are a follower and RT every Monday you will have 7 chances to win this amazing book.

IF YOU DON"T WIN OR WANT IT RIGHT AWAY GO AHEAD AND CLICK HERE !

Good luck!

  1. Awesome contest! This is one of Brian's books that I haven't read. I love the cover art that Deadite Press has been putting out.

My favorite by Brian is actually a tie between KILL WHITEY and TERMINAL.

  8. I'd have to say it's a tie between The Conquerer Worms and Ghoul. I love the batshit insanity of Worms but I'm a total sucker for 'coming of age' horror.

  9. GHOUL is by far my favorite book from the Master, Brian Keene!

  19. I think for me, it's a tie between Dead Sea and Darkness on the Edge of Town. Among all of Brian's awesome catalog, those for me really stand out as great books. So glad to have his back catalog coming out, it's going to be great!

  28. Everytime someone asks me to pick my favorite, it seems like an unattainable goal. All of his stuff is awesome. From Urban Gothic to Terminal, his so-called ZOMBIE trilogy of Rising, City of the Dead, and Dead Sea, to Ghoul and Conqueror worms and everything else. I just can't do it man. But to pick one to win a copy of Jack's Magic Beans, which by the way is a very messed up story, I will just have to go with my first--- City of the Dead, as my favofrite Keene novel! Thanks for reprinting his back catalog too!

  29. Have to say my favorite would either be Ghost Walk or A Gathering of Crows.

    ReplyDelete

  37. Conqueror Worms is best

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ghoul is my favorite Keene book.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Dark Hollow has always been my favorite!

    ReplyDelete

  63. The best Brian Keene book would have to be the one with the hands reaching out of the cover. Well, I guess that would be most Keene books by Leisure. If I had to pick one, I would say The Rising. If I had to pick a second, one a little less horror, I would say Terminal.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I can't choose just one, but if I had to, Unhappy Endings !

    ReplyDelete
  65. There is no way in the world that I could pick just one bc I love every single book that I've read. I suppose if I "HAVE" to, Im going to say, "GHOUL".
As I said, I truly love ALL that I've read.
